Not quite dead yet

I'm Kevin, I love to travel, and these are my stories.

Who am I? Well, I'm a "getting on a bit", retired early, Dad of grown children, looking after my Mum in her golden years, looney lefty, who loves the world and the people I share it with.

I have a "colourful" medical history; hence, "Not quite dead yet". From flesh eating disease in my thirties, to heart failure in my fifties, with the odd bit of brain surgery thrown in for good measure. I've passed my sell by date on a few occasions and somehow manage to keep going. But, that stuff keeps me aware of the fact that I'm not here forever.

Before it all goes Pete Tong, I'm going to see the world!

My travel style is relaxed, but adventurous. I love an unusual destination. Give me Moldova over Marbella or India over Ibiza anyday. I love a good lie in bed, and a leisurely meal. Sure, I see the sights but I think a few beers with the locals is just as important.

So. enjoy and see the world with my ageing eyes.
